please don’t hate me. i know it has been ages but oh the things that have happened!
for starters… my hubby lost his job.
i’ll let that sink in for a bit. you see he has been with this company for 15 years, he’s only 35. he was waiting at the door when they opened it. they paid for him to get his GED so they could pay him more. they stuck by him when he contracted this weird rare disease and kept his job open for him for 3 months until he recovered. they paid for him to get a commercial pesticide licencse for his time and the license, every year. he was their “tech” guy, kept all of their computer systems running.
and now for the offical reason…. “personality conflict”
so WTF!!!!!
of course he won’t sue. they asked him to sign a piece of paper stating that if he signed it like a good boy they they would give him $ and vacation owed. which of course equaled to less than a paycheck. i don’t know what we’re going to do. his salary made up 75% of our income, thank the gods we don’t have children. he still has his 401K to get out and of course thats proving to be a royal pain. and yes he signed up for unemployment but thats not going to solve anything now. and yes he is looking for jobs, online.
the poor boy is so distraught. in all my life i’ve never seen him like this. when he speaks i can barely hear him. he spends all and i do mean all of his time infront of the computer. and now when he leaves he house he gets anxiety attacks. although it seems that the more i take him out the less of a problem he has, that or he is just hiding it better.
and to top this all off i am having serious issues at work. and thats all i’m going to say about that.
