So I got off my ass and did something.
I went to the ocean yesterday, my sister and nephew were going over and they extended the invite. It was a wonderful Sunday to spend there. 78 degrees, light breeze & a mild sunburn. Lovely. Hardly any tourists so lots of shells left untouched. only bad thing was that the batteries in the camera were so low it was shutting off by itself. Oh well. Got a few in before it went tits up. in fact when we crested the pass the sun was just making the horizon lightly pink and “the mountain”, Rainier, was looking ghostly in the distance, so a picture had to be taken. With the first one the settings were wrong so it flashed and just got the trees and etc in the foreground. but weirdly enough I got TONS of orbs! looking at it now kinda gives me the creeps. But I eventually got a picture of the mountain and even a few at the beach before the camera gave out.
On the way home William decided that he couldn’t possibly go to sleep when he got home unless he had a bedtime story. But because we were not going to be home till late we decided that we would tell the story on the way home. So Goldilocks and the three bears was the story on deck. I narrated and Limetta did the speaking parts. He was entranced. All in all a good time was definitely had.
It would be nice if we could go again this week. But with a 4 hour drive the minimum it may not happen.

ya know i feel kinda bad in the fact that absolutely nothing interesting is going on in my life at all. so i don’t feel that i have anything of worth to spew forth. i am offically boring the hell out of myself. i need to have some order to my day. maybe start working out. getting to bed earlier. finish up the projects around the house that needs to get done. le sigh. well none of that will get done.

Cary Brothers – Blue Eyes Lyrics
Wish enough, wise man’ll tell you a lie
Window broke, torn up screens
Who’d have thought that you’d dream
Of a single tragic scene I just wanna sing a song with you
I just want to take it off of you
Cause Blue Eyes
You are all that I need
Cause Blue Eyes
You’re the sweet to my mean
Fess it up, dot on the palm of your hand
I can help you to stand
Saved it up for this dance
Tell me all the things you can
I just wanna sing a song with you
I just wanna be the one that’s true
Cause Blue Eyes
You’re the secret I keep
Cause Blue Eyes
All the lights on and you are alive
But you can’t point the way to your heart
So sublime, when the stars are aligned
But you don’t know
You don’t know the greatness you are
Cause Blue Eyes
You are destiny’s scene
Cause Blue Eyes
I just wanna be the one
I just wanna sing a song with you
I just wanna get it on with you
Cause Blue Eyes
You’re the secret I keep
Cause Blue Eyes
I just wanna sing a song with you…
I’m such a schmuck. I don’t know why I didn’t listen and missed a hint that fucking big.

What Scott found hiding out by the downstairs computer. Our wedding pictures! It seems so long ago now. Well it’s been over ten years so I guess it has been a long time. They were the only ones taken. My parents took them with their “new fangled” camera, a kind of Polaroid. Scott had been really sick & had just started walking again, he had Guillian Barre syndrome , and was actually able to stand for the ceremony and reception. And I know that it looks as though he is not enjoying himself, his illness also affected the muscles in his face, but the right side of his mouth is a little turned up and you can tell he is smiling. Its really sweet and sad all at the same time. You’ll find the pictures here. You can tell our families apart. We are all pretty distinctive.
BTW the moon is full tonite… i think some more pictures are in order….

Ooooooo I had a party! Let me tell you. It was wonderful. I really live to entertain and make people happy. We had about 34 people over. 9 of them under 10. Friends and all of the family from both sides were there. So much food. Then once it got dark we started a fire and roasted marshmallows. Imagine 6 small children (3-9 respectfully) running around in the dark with long sharp sticks and high on pop and candy. And nobody got hurt. We didn’t have one screaming kid. No fights. It was beautiful. We had bodies over past 1 am then made sure no important food was left out and went to bed. Didn’t wake up until after 12:30 today. I was beat. But it was so good to have everybody over. My parents came down and stayed until 10 or so and Scotts parents stayed way later than they ever have. It was ever so good. But now the trash is picked up & the house seems empty. I really need to have a hobby, other than keeping my house clean.
