This weeks been pretty good. Didn’t get much done. But that’s ok.

Now I have to go back to work tomorrow. At 9:30am!! I didn’t get up until 1:30 today, let me tell ya that felt nice. I really wish that when they change your schedule they contact you somehow. Bastards. Good thing I called in. I’ll know this week what is in store for my future there. Whatever happens there I know it will directly affect how much and what I blog about.

Well good news! I finally got off my ass and started to knit that sweater I was so excited about in January. Daniel will be so happy. It really is way to easy.

Ok I’m off to get laid! hahaha

Drama!

Oh I went to my other job today and found out that the manager (we’ll call them pat) who had worked there for over 5 years has been fired! Now keep in mind pat has done a phenomenal job and worked overtime not to mention the loyalty that pat has for the owner(we’ll call them Jaime). But the performance or lack there of was beginning to show. And Jaime even thinks pat might have been stealing. Now I know this doesn’t sound like much but if you only knew both of them it would seem even more incredulous. We’ve done some brainstorming and think that pat and partner might be back into their old habits. meth. And it would be such a waste for this person has really transformed over the past 5 years. Not to mention the children that pat has. Now please keep in mind that this is only supposition, not fact(about the meth part). So much DRAMA! All I can say is wow and I am very happy I don’t have to experience this kind of thing on a daily basis.

on a happier note I am crossing the great cascades (haha) to go and get the yarn for the sweater! And even visit a new shop! WHOOO HOOO!!!! I love going over the mountains and through the woods …..

Ok, so it seems that I am posting about once a month now. Weird eh? But I am going to blame it on the season….

Well the “man” has yet to find gainful employment. But were all still rooting for him. Actually I am hoping he’ll find something on the other side of the mountains. A little closer to the ocean. Maybe Vancouver or Portland. Seattle would be nice but we would have to both find amazing jobs. But if he can find something over there then I can always transfer. If we did that then I would rent the house out to a good friend of ours. Everything settled! Ah but I suppose I shouldn’t count the ole chickens before they hatch.

I thought that retail was supposed to slow down after the holidays?! It seemed as though we were just as busy. But it should slow down this upcoming week. Thank the gods.

Oh guess what. I am going to try and tackle a sweater. Well not literally but a coworker wants me to knit him one. So he has done half the work already, finding the pattern. So now all he has to do is find the yarn. If he doesn’t find it here in town then we’ll go to Bellevue and find it at this amazing yarn shop over there that I found. Its spendy but oh so worth it. And not only do I get the practice of actually doing one but he is going to pay me as well!!

Ok well because this is officially the last night of the old year I want to wish all of you a very fruitful new year and may all of your endeavors happen the way you plan them, unless it happens to be better another way.
