WHEEEEE….
yesterday I convinced my work that letting me go home early would be beneficial to payroll. So I arrived at 9 and got to leave at 1!!
We, hubby and I, had decided earlier to go to lunch somewhere. So when I got off for my “lunch” at 1 I kinda took my time in leaving. So I was 15 minutes “late”. When I went out to the truck I told H, with a really straight face, that I didn’t need to be back until 2:30, big pause, on Saturday. At first all he heard was the 2:30 part and said “cool where do you want to go eat……” And kept rambling. Then you could slowly see the recognition creep across his face and he was all…. Why, what do you mean Saturday? So I had to explain to him, repeatedly, so when it finally seemed to stick he says “wanna go drinking?” and of course I said HELLS YA. So we booked it home, dropped off my truck and we went to Black Angus.
I have a girlfriend from high school that works there and she always hooks us up with decent drinks and discounts on our food. And not to long before we were gonna leave I meet one of my old friends from another job long long ago and caught up on lost time. It was so good to see him.
all of us might be getting together in the future….
from there we went to the smoke shack where I meet a friend from my current work and she is super cool. Barely know here but she is awfully nice. Then we went home and just as we pulled in Scott asked if I wanted to go to a bar, get a pitcher and play some pool. Well he said the magic word… Pool. So we stayed at the house bs’ing with my neighbor and then we left and went to Max.
After we got there h realized he had smoked his stoogie to quick and had a terrible head rush and stomach ache. So I thought we were gonna leave but eventually he felt better… After a coupla beers and we stayed for 2 rounds of pool in which he royally stomped me. bugger. And I called a friend of mine and we decided to go over later. Now, for some reason the evening gets a little fuzzy from here, haha, and its all a little vague.
But I remember going home and leaving. We went to I think Safeway and there was another drunk guy there who was kinda weird. Even me in my drunk state could see that but whatever. So we went to her house and had barbecue, which was amazing, but I shouldn’t have eaten. ‘cuz it made me kinda sick to my stomach. And then we just hung out for a while. Actually till almost 11:30. By then h was passing out on the couch and I was half there.
but it was such a nice day with the sun shining and the sky was almost cloudless no breeze. It felt like summer. And besides I haven’t been drunk by 2:30 pm in such a long time. It was wonderful.

Ok, so it seems that I am posting about once a month now. Weird eh? But I am going to blame it on the season….
Well the “man” has yet to find gainful employment. But were all still rooting for him. Actually I am hoping he’ll find something on the other side of the mountains. A little closer to the ocean. Maybe Vancouver or Portland. Seattle would be nice but we would have to both find amazing jobs. But if he can find something over there then I can always transfer. If we did that then I would rent the house out to a good friend of ours. Everything settled! Ah but I suppose I shouldn’t count the ole chickens before they hatch.
I thought that retail was supposed to slow down after the holidays?! It seemed as though we were just as busy. But it should slow down this upcoming week. Thank the gods.
Oh guess what. I am going to try and tackle a sweater. Well not literally but a coworker wants me to knit him one. So he has done half the work already, finding the pattern. So now all he has to do is find the yarn. If he doesn’t find it here in town then we’ll go to Bellevue and find it at this amazing yarn shop over there that I found. Its spendy but oh so worth it. And not only do I get the practice of actually doing one but he is going to pay me as well!!
Ok well because this is officially the last night of the old year I want to wish all of you a very fruitful new year and may all of your endeavors happen the way you plan them, unless it happens to be better another way.

Well I kinda did it again. I fell asleep on the couch for a coupla hours last night. And by 12:30 I was awake. So I go and play on the ‘puter for a bit then try to go to bed. Repeat several times more. So then I “wake” Scott up and “play”. Then I try to go to sleep again but no luck.
So I tell my hubby that I can’t sleep and I think I am going to go grocery shopping. He says the same, so we go to HELL-Mart. So we wander around hell mart till 4:30 or so when we decide that he has got to get a little sleep before he has to work today. So we get home. I decide that since I am adding a ton of stuff to the freezer anyway I might as well clean it out. So I did. I got two garbage bags full of old shit that needed to go.
Man I hate wasting food. I feel like such a programmed consumer, buy buy buy. But then I have my mom & dad in my head “don’t throw it away, it might be good for something or your gonna need it” my mom has food rotting in her fridge just because she can’t stand to throw things away. Where as Scott, on the other hand, if he has seen it in the fridge for two days he won’t touch it. Convinced that it will make him sick. I think he psych’s himself up to get sick, so therefore he does. I betcha he never ate the ND dirt either.
So to get back to the orginal thread…. I am still awake. I plan on going tanning in a few minutes but then what? My golf clubs are due to arrive today but the Gods only know when I’ll get them.
So it’s a waiting game. I should finish my shopping, fresh foods, but that would require cleaning out the fridge. Gack. So we’ll see, eh.
