Tuesday night/Wednesday morn I went outside to snap a few shots of the moon cuz it was full. And I was a little disappointed cuz we usually have clouds when its full but none then. So I started snapping the cats and surprise surprise they don’t like the flash, haha. Then I was struck with a little “ah ha” moment and I said in a very loud and clear voice “if anyone would like you picture taken now would be the time to let me photograph you” and I started snapping pictures. Surprise to me, even tho’ I shouldn’t have been. I got quite a few ORBS and tracers! Some really big too. So if you want to see them just go to “photos” on the side bar/
On Wednesday we went golfing with Jessica. Even tho she doesn’t & didn’t want to golf she drove the cart. We all had a wonderful time then we went to red robin and had supper. Its been so good to spend time with friends that you don’t always get to see.
Oh and you know those seeds I planted? Well they sprouted by sat. And now there is no stopping them. Now if I could just keep the Katz from sleeping in the pots!

Ya know, Thursday night I had the most terrible time going to sleep. I kept thinking about “work” and and to keep reminding myself that I didn’t have a work. I don’t know how many times I had to do that. Then when I finally went to sleep I got up at 5:30 am.
Friday and Saturday hubby and I watched our niece and nephew. We went and seen Cars. If you get a chance, even if you don’t have kids, you should go. Its really well done. Major attention to detail. Entertaining and lots of guest appearances, they even do a mini movie montage at the end. Its really cute.
Today we went up in the hills to beat the heat. Had a picnic, played Frisbee and messed around in the water. It was a good day today. But now I smell like a fire and dirt. I need to take another shower. Damn.
Its supposed to be 101 degrees tomorrow and Tuesday. Yecch. Tomorrow I might go up and visit the folks in the afternoon/evening. Dad is coming down for a doctors appt. and he is going to swing down a visit and I think I’ll give him his fathers day gift then.
I figure that the no work thing isn’t going to hit me until either later this week or next week sometime. I don’t know, so I suppose we’ll see.

Oregon man survives 12 nails to the head
33-year-old meth user attempted suicide using nail gun, doctors say

Updated: 10:46 p.m. ET April 21, 2006
PORTLAND, Ore. – An Oregon man who went to a hospital complaining of a headache was found to have 12 nails embedded in his skull from a suicide attempt with a nail gun, doctors say.
Surgeons removed the nails with needle-nosed pliers and a drill, and the man survived with no serious lasting effects, according to a report on the medical oddity in the current issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery.
The unidentified 33-year-old man was suicidal and high on methamphetamine last year when he fired the nails — up to 2 inches in length — into his head one by one.
The nails were not visible when doctors first examined the man in the emergency room of an unidentified Oregon hospital a day later. Doctors were surprised when X-rays revealed six nails clustered between his right eye and ear, two below his right ear and four on the left side of his head.
The study did not say how long the nails were, and a hospital spokeswoman refused to release that information. A photo published in the study suggests the nails range from 1½ to 2 inches long.
No one before is known to have survived after intentionally firing so many foreign objects into the head, according to the report, written by Dr. G. Alexander West, the neurosurgeon who oversaw the treatment of the patient.
The man at first told doctors he had had a nail gun accident, but later admitted it was a suicide attempt.
The nails came close to major blood vessels and the brain stem but did not pierce them. The patient was in remarkably good condition when he was transferred to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where the nails were removed.
The patient was later transferred to psychiatric care and stayed under court order for nearly a month before leaving against doctors’ orders.
